The Lighter Side of Life

This page contains a daily journal that may interest some JPN partners. WARNING! These entries may NOT be spiritual in nature. Some of us (mainly me) need to lighten up even in the middle of trouble, problems and bearing burdens. God created man with the ability and need to laugh and enjoy His creation. Don't wait until you get to Heaven to laugh. Check back often for new entries on this page! Click here to read the Sept Lite Bytes pages. Click Read More to read the latest Oct Lite Bytes entries.

Another end of the month busy day! Paying tithes, paying bills. Heard an incredible true story that needs to be shared today. Perhaps again in a different manner in the near future.

There is a young Christian Japanese woman we know living in Okinawa. She is a few months pregnant. She always plays Praise Music in  her car wherever she goes. Last week she has an appointment with the gynecologist. She went in the the doctor's office and he did the normal ultrasound on the baby. When the doctor was conducting the scan he asked her if she had been playing music in her car just before she arrived at the office. She replied that she had been. The doctor said he had never seen anything like this before. He said, "the baby seems to be dancing". The baby was moving its legs and had both arms raised above the head.

This is someone we know personally. She and her husband are a part of a Praise and Worship team in a church there on Okinawa. The doctor is not a Christian. He is the one who suggested the baby was "dancing" and the scan showed the arms raised above the head as most people would do when praising the Lord.

Well, you can make up your own mind as to the significance of this happening. People wonder about "Life before Birth". I am sure that yet unborn baby not only heard the music and responded to it. I believe the spirit in the baby was responding to the Holy Spirit and praising the Lord. Remember John the Baptist in his mother's womb when she met Mary?

Have a wonderful day in the Lord. Don't forget to Praise the Lord. The babies have a head start on us adults.

God is Good! Wonderful day! Tired in body but happy and rejoicing in spirit! Been fighting cold symptoms. Great time with Jonathan and Lori today. He taught me something new from Ecc 11:2. I have been using the first verse about casting my  bread upon the waters but don't even recall having read or heard anything said about the 2nd verse. I checked it out in some commentaries but not much was said there either. Please take time to read the first part of that chapter when you have time. Good feeling to finally get the JPN Sept 2007 Update finished up. I drug Sharon into the living room just before  midnight to help with proofreading but she is exhausted. She did a lot of swimming today. She is finding she can use several kinds of swimming strokes. Jonathan and I went to the store (Costco) to pick up some supplies. Had a great meal of fondue (I think that is how you spell it) We are needing to clean house for our company. Michael and Demetrice Elizares from Seattle are coming for the first ever JPN Prayer Journey. If you read this earlier please forgive me. It is after midnight and I have yet to go over my personal prayer list yet tonight.

We got some urgent special prayer requests today. We almost always stop and pray as soon as one of us gets a request like that by phone, email or on the web site. I would appreciate you praying for our physical, spiritual and emotional strength for the next two weeks that will probably be busy but wonderful! BTW I hope to cut off this month of JPN Lite Bytes and start a new one since this is so long and hard to navigate.

May God bless you in a marvelous way and give you His Strength and Joy!
